Playing Hostess!

I'm planning 2 dinner parties within a week of each other.

What in the crap was I thinking?!?!?!

On Friday our neighbors are coming over for dinner.
J & The MR. have really hit it off,
and A & I have a lot in common!

I've finally pinned down a menu for Friday night.
I might be slightly insane,
But I'm trying all new recipes.

YIKES!!!

There's going to be some pork tenderloin...

BBQ Potatoes

Some BBQ Potato's

Crock Pot Ranch Mushrooms

Some CrockPot Ranch Mushrooms

Hasselback Bread Final 2

And some Garlic Cheese Bread

**Note:  PLEASE do not sue me for using the above pictures....I am NOT taking credit for them, I will post my own when I actually make them!) **

I haven't decided on a dessert yet...

But I'm thinking that these Cheesecake in Jars sound Divine!!!

THEN....

We are hosting our FIRST July 4th party this year/the MR.'s B-day Bash
I'm have no idea who all is coming yet....
It might end up just being The MR & I.

But here's the Menu!

Baked Mac & Cheese

A "specialty" hamburger, probably with some FETA cheese mixed in,
Regular Hamburgers,
and some Hot dogs...

Baked Potato Salad

Probably a good old fashioned veggie tray...

Then for Dessert...

The best part of it all!

And through all of this I'm going to be staying Gluten/Sugar free.  Yup.
Wish me luck!

  1. Isn't it fun to have your own house/family and entertain? All the food looks and sounds wonderful! I wish I was going to be there! :) I planned two parties in one weekend once. A surprise b-day party for my mom's 50th and a Veteran's Day open house for Titus. AND I was pregnant with Gideon, James was about 1 1/2. It was busy, but fun! :D

    1. It's a blast! I love every minute of it! Except maybe the clean up. But I have a dishwasher now, so it's all good! Jt loves it because He knows He's going to eat waaaaay better than normal! :)
